To work in the North especially in Northwest Territories and Nunavut you need the following: *Holder of a nursing license from Northwest Territories and Nunavut (https://rnantnu.ca/) *Two years nursing experience (having worked in the north would be an added bonus, but not necessary)

HCP level CPR, nursing License, Professional Liability Insurance, Driver’s License, Medical note- from your GP that you are mentally and physically fit to work in an isolated community. Nursing Degree or Diploma, ACLS, TLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, Security Clearance.

Training is provided to nurses prior to deployment to the assigned community. Ongoing support is provided while on an assignment.

Professional Liability Insurance, Driver’s License, Medical note- from your GP that you are mentally and physically fit to work in an isolated community. nursing Degree or Diploma, vulnerable sector security check, nursing license from Northwest Territories and Nunavut, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, ITLS/TNCC, CDS, WHIMS, TDG, N95, Nunavut immunizations certificate.

Accommodations and flights are provided by us. Travel days are paid Lodging is usually onsite in a nursing residence or short distance from the nursing station.
